Just Ate, wherever, Whenever - And Lookie... Down 1

Stats - LIW 240 - R1 P3 D14 - last weigh in 243.5 - Today's weight- 242.5 + 2.5 from LIW

Hi everyone! Sorry for not being around.... I have been business traveling AGAIN. This time to Southern California, so at least I was able to feel some sunshine, which I must say, I have been missing and complaining constantly about it! LOL - So, I am very glad I at least got a shot of some sun.

Ok... well, on this trip, I ate whatever I felt like eating whenever I felt hungry. I had eggs over easy with bacon, I ate cashews up the yeng yang, I had cheeses, meats and fruits, threw in a few veggies for good measure, even ate a chocolate chip cookie. Drank a lot of water and slightly sweetened iced tea too. So when I got home at 2am this morning, I thought.... oh GOD... I know I will be up FIVE pounds when I get up in the morning.... But.... Lo and behold, I was down a pound from my last weigh in! I couldn't believe it, so I weighed myself about 5 more times just to make sure! (What a spaz!)

So Becca and Biz.... You are absolutely right! (Of course you are :)) Eating more is Less! I will stick with keeping up the calories and just wait until next P2 to worry about losing more weight.... You guys are my heros!

Amie.... good to meet you. Are you keeping a blog? I will check up on you. The blogs really help too! I've met some really wonderful people and it is a super support system!

Jennnnn....So sorry! I know I have been sporadic at best at checking in. I am in my sales season, so traveling a lot.... you know... tryin' to make a living! LOL I will work on being better. Hope you and Ed are doing good! :)

Same as Yesterday.

Ok, Well today I am the same as yesterday.... No gain, no loss.

R1, P3, D11 - Today's weight 243.5 LIW - 240 +3.5

Today's menu -

Breakfast - 1 slice gluten free toast with 1 T peanut butter, 4 strawberries, coffee with sugarfree vanilla creamer. Snack - banana, Lunch - small chef salad with italian dressing, 1 C chicken noodle soup, 1/2 molasses cookie, Dinner - Stew with 1/2 small sweet potato, carrots, celery and lean pork roast, 2 glasses red wine.

Total calories - 1793 - Broken down 36% fat, 26% Carbs, 29% Protein, 9% alcohol.

Biz, I went to the BMR calculator you recommended. Just to function it has me at 1788 - then when I add in activity, it figured me at just over 2500 calories to maintain weight, with the low to moderate exercise activity I have going on right now. So I figured about 700 calories less to lose roughly 1.4 pounds per week on P3, which leaves me around 1800 calories/day. Is this correct? or do you still think it is not enough calories? Let me know thanks. I felt like I ate plenty today, even throwing in 2 glasses of wine. I probably shouldn't eat the molasses cookie, since it has both sugar and flour.... But, I did. I went to starbucks and split it with my girlfriend over a cup of coffee.

Anyway.... Tomorrow I travel down to CA for a sales meeting for 2 days. I will do my best to "be good" but at least P3 is easier to travel with than P2.

Adios for now! :)

How Many Calories is Good?

P3 D10 - LIW 240 - Today's Weight - 243.5 +3.5

Ahhhh Sunday.... "Day of Rest". Yea Right! Tim and I have been remodeling the house and EVERY weekend seems like MORE work than the one before! Well.... Things are starting to get there. Tim is working on texturing the walls in our new master bedroom, so then I can start painting. I am looking forward to that!

OK friends... Biz, Becca, Lili so you say I am not eating enough calories. How many calories do you think I should be eating during P3? I have just been eating when I am hungry, avoiding sugar and starch... but if I need to eat more, I will make it a point to add in a few snacks.

My lifestyle? I have been exercising daily, not too hardcore though, usually a 30 minute workout video using light weights, or a 2 mile walk, and then adding in some extra exercises every other day.... 30 sit ups, 30 squats, 30 push ups, 30 dips, 30 birdies. My goal is to workout at least 6 days a week, which so far has worked out for me. Throughout the week I work at a desk, on the phone constantly, and on the computer.... so not that active. At home, I clean regularly and do the cooking, etc. so I'm not laying around, but not exactly over active

TOM is now gone and I am still up 3.5 lbs from LIW. I really want to do this right... so all your input is totally appreciated!

Quick Update.

I have been working a lot, so I haven't had much time to post. But here's a quick update....

Ok... Well today I was down a little.... but still up from LIW and still fighting with TOM

So here's the stats... R1 - P3 - D8 - LIW 240 - Today's Weight 244 + 4

This morning I had 1 deviled egg made with 1 Teaspoon light mayo and mustard, Lunch was vegetable soup, green beans and roasted vegies with a little olive oil and some spices and a molasses cookie. Dinner, Taco salad with lettuce, taco meat, cheese, salsa. Red wine - The calorie count? Let's see.... according to fit day 1504

I have also exercised 4 days straight... so I am happy about that. Not too hard core, just a 30 minute workout video with light weights and a few squats, sit ups and push ups. My goal is to just get in the habbit of doing something everyday.

To My friends out there:

Jenn... Great to have you back. I know TOM can wreak havoc. So I am ignoring it for now. I am just trying to eat healthy and exercise. Hopefully that will at least get me back to LIW so I can maintain until R2. I have also had a couple of nice comments from my Biz partner, who knows nothing about my hcg program.... she said to me today.... "Liz, you don't look quite so puffy.... whatever you're doing, keep it up, you look great! " So that made me feel good.

Biz.... It's great to have you back too! I am going to buzz right over to your blog to see what you've been up to!

Becca.... my chocolate malted egg partner in crime... LOL I'm glad I'm not the only one that has problems resisting! I will work on being a better student of Dr. S. ...But I gotta admit, THAT is one of my biggest issues! I sometimes have problems with "cheating just a little bit!" But my hopes are that even with my baaaaad habits, I will learn to keep the cheats to a minimum and eventually get there if I just get back on the path when I find myself wandering.

TOM Again- Ughhhhh!

Well TOM is back! God I hate that! I wasn't expecting it until next week, but bright and early Sunday morning.... what a "nice" Easter surprise! I ALWAYS GAIN what feels like a hundred pounds with TOM, so of course.... I am up! Ok... so here are the stats for today....

LIW240 - Today's weight 245 + 5 pounds.... arghhhhhhh! I'm now on P3 D6 (I think) I sometimes lose a day or two when I haven't reprted regularly.

On a good note, I have exercised for two days straight.... not a lot only about 30 minutes.... breaking myself in slowly and then will gradually ramp up to 45 -60 minutes per day. I want to try to keep it up throughout P3 and then when I start R2, I will just do a steady 30 minute workout throughout my next R2 to see if it ups my weight loss some.

I am trying not to worry too much about my 5 lb gain right now.... with TOM and all.... but this whole weight loss thing is really a mind game, and sometimes it can really mess with you! Plus.... I really didn't end my P2 all that well.... with Alex's birthday and Easter.... My first "leagal" day of P3 being Easter, and do you think I could leave the malt ball eggs alone? God... I am so weak! Okay...well that is over so I will stop beating myself up!

Anyway.... Becca... good to hear from you. I AM going to keep the next load to a minimum.... AND I am REALLY going to try to keep within the 2 lbs of LIW throughout this P3 period. I would REALLY like to drop below the LIW too... so ANY suggestions would be truly appreciated from my experienced friends out there!

Biz..... It's great to have you back! Man....were you ever missed! I am going to head right over to your place and see what you have been up to! LOL

Okay everyone.... have a GREAT Evening (you all are probably asleep by now) Take care!

Last VLCD.... Woo Hoo!

Starting wt 264 - LIW 240 Today's WT 241 - R1 VLCD 46

Well Today is my last VLCD for this round and I am going to make it count! :) I am still up the pound from the other day though -Uggghhhh! So hopefully it will be back down by tomorrow. Tomorrow should be a GREAT day! I am looking forward to REAL P3 foods! :)

I have a lot going on today, so I'v got to make this quick! But I want to wish all of you "HAPPY EASTER!"

Regina, I look forward to paddling in that boat with you! Thanks so much for the encouragement! It truly helps!

I don't think I will load on the next round ..... I dunno, my mind continually asks... Why do that when you can be headin on down from the get go? Maybe I will just eat what I want for those two days...but not necessarily over indulge. What's your take on that? I am also looking forward to starting the exercise on Monday.... I would be really happy if I could take off another 4 or 5 pounds by the time we start up again.

This Time I Cheated BIG Time!

Well.... I ended up haveing chocolate birthday cake with vanilla ice cream and walnuts and added a pound on the scale this morning!

So here it is R1 P3 D1 - LIW 240 Today's weight 241 +1

Plus I am STILL supposed to be on VLCD for a couple more days, and I am kind of HUNGRY.... I don't know if I'm really hungry, or if it's all in the head, or if it's a reaction to having sugar last night? But the birthday cake was REALLY good! LOL.

So I am trying to be good today, but kind of all ready blew it because I went to lunch with some girlfriends and had a steak salad, but forgot to tell the waitress to hold the blue cheese vinegarette dressing and instead of sending it back for a new one, I just ate it anyway.... SO.... my alotted 500 calories has probably already been sucked up by the dressing alone! YES, once more.... I am very Baaaaaaaaaaaaad! I could blame it on all the stress of the last few days, but we all know that pretending to be a victim doesn't serve any of us all that well. So I will just buck up and take responsibility and get back on the program.

So Monday I am planning on starting an exercise routine along with my P3. At least that way, I can work on toning up a bit and hopefully keep everything in check until I start on R2.

To my friends,

Lili, Becca
Thanks SOOOOO much for the support. It really helps a lot! I have had a really emotional few days and it is nice to have your encouragement. I know in my heart things will be fine. I just have to enjoy the time we have until he leaves, and look forward to the times when he will be back home to visit. Alex will be leaving the end of July so we still have a little bit of time before he is gone.
