I'm Still Stuck! Arrrrrgh!

R2 P2 VLCD 9 - Starting weight this round 241 - Yesterday's weight 237 - Today's weight 237 - I'm Still Stuck!

Well TOM is finally winding down, so maybe I will see a loss in the morning? I have been so frustrated because I had such a great start to this P2 and then TOM had to come in and blow it all for me.... Ahhh well! At least I didn't gain!

Today I had some mushroom soup and some little chunks of chicken. Total of about 250 Calories so far. But the soup is not on protocol, so I hope it doesn't affect me! I was going to do a P2 steak day, but I was so hungry by about 3:00 that I went to the deli by my office and blew it! So I think I will have a salad for dinner and call it good! Then I will see what that nasty scale of mine has in store for me tomorrow! I am leaving to Florida on the 29th and was hoping to be down to 230 by then... but I think I may just be lucky to see 235. We shall see!

You guys are so encouraging! Thanks so much! I know that it's you friends out there that help me to hang in there when I'm not seeing the results I want to see!

Yesterday, I went to Lowes and got all the supplies I need to trick out my new master bedroom closet! I am really looking forward to putting it all together! I will have a whole wall for double hanging and then a section for long stuff and shelves and a shoe rack. I have really been looking forward to going through my things and getting organized. We have been living a bit tight since we have been remodeling. There is still a way to go on the bathroom yet, But I think we can at least get into the bedroom part of it now. Once we get moved into the new room, I am redoing the old one for my daughter. And we are also starting on a new deck.... so yes, busy, busy, busy! I want to have it all done by end of June, so I can have a combo Graduation/going away party for my son in July.

Tim and I have done several remodels over the last few years on properties that we have bought and sold. But this is the first time we have been living in the midst of one. We bought this house about 2 years ago, thinking we would remodel it and then move into it. But then my other house sold really fast (in 2 days) and we had to move out of that one. In hind sight, it probably would have been better if we had rented a place for a little while so we could finish this one faster. It is definitely a challenge trying to remodel around actual living space. But we are almost done now and we are still together, so I guess it all worked out ok, it just took a whole lot longer!

A Killer Deal!

Well TOM has been kickin me around and I have been at the same weight for the last 3 days. Heres the stats: R2 P2 VLCD7-Yesterday's weight 237 - Today's weight 237 - 0 gain, 0 loss.

According to Dr S, I probably should have waited until after TOM to start this round since TOM was here within 4 Days of starting R2. But I have been anxious to get going again, so I did. I guess the lesson is that TOM continues to win the loss/no loss battle... seems like every time! LOL. Well, I'm thinking at least a no gain is good right?

Yesterday I worked all day on our remodeling project. I was grouting the tile that Tim laid in our new master bedroom. I got about half of it done. I will do the rest today. It's looking pretty good! and I can't wait until I can get moved in! I have been looking for a new bedding set...duvet cover, etc. and have been having heart failure at the prices! I've been to Macy's and Linen & Things and everything is upward of $400 for anything I remotely liked. Plus, after we get into the new room, my daughter will move into the room I am in now, so I was planning on redoing her bedding too for the big move. She is a real powder puff girl, so I was looking for something frilly for her. Turns out, between the two of us, it would run me close to $1000 just to put a couple of complete sets together. OUCH! So anyhowsy.... I decided to look on overstock.com, and low and behold, they are running a bedding sale (70%) off! And I actually found some very nice products and even another set to freshen up my son's room (even though he's leaving in July for the ARMY) and the total for ALL 3 complete sets with sheets.... $265. I could NOT even believe it. All the item reviews were great.... so hopefully they turn out to be nice quality! I'll let you know how it turns out. Anyone have experience shopping there?

Well, I'm off to grout more tile! Ciao for now!
