Thanks So Much!

Starting weight 264 R1 - VLCD d5 Today's weight 254.5 - Total Loss 9.5

Yesterday was a beter day for me. I managed to get all my meals in (except the melba toast- My 17 yo son decided they were great dipping crackers and ate the whole box. Teenage boys will devour anything in sight and think it's the "Best" thing since.... well their last meal anyway...LOL)

Breakfast was 1/2 grapefruit - Lunch Lettuce and grilled chicken - Dinner - Lettuce and shrimp with Lemon - snack 1/2 grapefruit. Total Calories - 402 still a tad bit on the low side... but better, none the less.

I can't tell you how much I have appreciated everyone's support. You folks are awesome!

I'd like to especially thank Helen, who helped me get started earlier than I could have, by spotting me some hCG until mine can get here.

Also Biz, who has been super helpful and encouraging to me! I will definitely bring some basic things on my trip to keep me going through the week I am gone.

Karen - I sure hope NYC warms up too! I checked the weather yesterday.... I'm definitely gonna need my "Big Puffy" coat. which I hate wearing, because I'm already "Big & Puffy" enough! LOL


Well, I'm not sure how much blogging I will get in between now and the time I get back. But I will try to keep you all posted on the progress as best I can. :) Thanks again everyone, for being so supportive! You guys are GREAT!

Down 2 Today

Startig weight 264 - R1 D3 VLCD Today's Weight 256


Well I had a very strange Yesterday and today! I have been so busy the last two days that I have been in positions where I have not been able to eat. Yesterdy Tim (my hunny) and I were laying linoleum in one of my rental houses and didn't get home until about 6pm, so I missed lunch completely. Then today, I had an appointment that took so long that I missed lunch again. It's a good thing I have been eating half a grapefruit and melba toast with my morning coffee! (I've always been a breakfast girl.) I've been getting ready for a week long trade show and am crammed with work to get done before I leave. I think tomorrow I will DEFINITELY take something to work with me!


I'm not sure how eating too little food effects this protocol. But I don't want it to mess up my weight loss for sure.... It looks like things were ok today.... I was down 2 (Yay).... But two days in a row worries me, and I'm not sure what to expect for tomorrow. Anyone out there with this experience?


Those of you who have visited me... Thanks! It's really cool to come check the blog and find that folks have left me messages! It's like.... such a commoraderee. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy! LOL

Thanks so much for your encouragement. I am going to be in Manhattan in a "boutique" hotel. You never know what to expect from those. LOL I have never stayed there before so I looked them up on the internet today. From comments made on customer reviews, It sounds like they don't have refrigerators in the rooms. But I will call tomorrow and see if I can request one.

Wow, down 42 pounds... That's great! I am getting so much more confidence with this protocol after reading people's stories. I had really gotten to the point of feeling like I was never going to be able to lose all this weight... but now there really IS hope! and that is so exciting to me.

I am liking the sublingual method too. I haven't done the injection method at all yet and was thinking I would do that for R2.... but who knows... if I feel like the sublingual is working for me, I may just stick with it. Do you use Gloria's recipe for mixing?

Lost the Load! Woo Hoo

Down 2.5 - weighed in at 258 this morning. So I lost the load plus an extra pound. The last couple of days haven't been that hard on me. It makes me wonder if the loading was necessary at all, or if that is why it hasn't been that hard on me. But it kind of messes with the psyche because it makes me think that if I hadn't loaded up, then I would be down 6 instead of being down only 1. Oh well.... at least I am going the right way now.

Yesterday I had a total of 478 calories.
Breakfast was 1/2 grapefruit and coffee. Lunch was chicken and 10 cherry tomatoes. Linner was fish and asparagus and had an apple and melba toast snack. My menue may stay kind of boring for a while as I am kind of a creature of habit. It makes my life easier, being a single mom. (Although I do have a hunny that helps out quite a bit!)

I am getting ready to go on a biz trip this friday. A week in NY for a tradeshow. I am a bit nervous about how things will go while traveling... so any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks
