Just Ate, wherever, Whenever - And Lookie... Down 1

Stats - LIW 240 - R1 P3 D14 - last weigh in 243.5 - Today's weight- 242.5 + 2.5 from LIW

Hi everyone! Sorry for not being around.... I have been business traveling AGAIN. This time to Southern California, so at least I was able to feel some sunshine, which I must say, I have been missing and complaining constantly about it! LOL - So, I am very glad I at least got a shot of some sun.

Ok... well, on this trip, I ate whatever I felt like eating whenever I felt hungry. I had eggs over easy with bacon, I ate cashews up the yeng yang, I had cheeses, meats and fruits, threw in a few veggies for good measure, even ate a chocolate chip cookie. Drank a lot of water and slightly sweetened iced tea too. So when I got home at 2am this morning, I thought.... oh GOD... I know I will be up FIVE pounds when I get up in the morning.... But.... Lo and behold, I was down a pound from my last weigh in! I couldn't believe it, so I weighed myself about 5 more times just to make sure! (What a spaz!)

So Becca and Biz.... You are absolutely right! (Of course you are :)) Eating more is Less! I will stick with keeping up the calories and just wait until next P2 to worry about losing more weight.... You guys are my heros!

Amie.... good to meet you. Are you keeping a blog? I will check up on you. The blogs really help too! I've met some really wonderful people and it is a super support system!

Jennnnn....So sorry! I know I have been sporadic at best at checking in. I am in my sales season, so traveling a lot.... you know... tryin' to make a living! LOL I will work on being better. Hope you and Ed are doing good! :)

Same as Yesterday.

Ok, Well today I am the same as yesterday.... No gain, no loss.

R1, P3, D11 - Today's weight 243.5 LIW - 240 +3.5

Today's menu -

Breakfast - 1 slice gluten free toast with 1 T peanut butter, 4 strawberries, coffee with sugarfree vanilla creamer. Snack - banana, Lunch - small chef salad with italian dressing, 1 C chicken noodle soup, 1/2 molasses cookie, Dinner - Stew with 1/2 small sweet potato, carrots, celery and lean pork roast, 2 glasses red wine.

Total calories - 1793 - Broken down 36% fat, 26% Carbs, 29% Protein, 9% alcohol.

Biz, I went to the BMR calculator you recommended. Just to function it has me at 1788 - then when I add in activity, it figured me at just over 2500 calories to maintain weight, with the low to moderate exercise activity I have going on right now. So I figured about 700 calories less to lose roughly 1.4 pounds per week on P3, which leaves me around 1800 calories/day. Is this correct? or do you still think it is not enough calories? Let me know thanks. I felt like I ate plenty today, even throwing in 2 glasses of wine. I probably shouldn't eat the molasses cookie, since it has both sugar and flour.... But, I did. I went to starbucks and split it with my girlfriend over a cup of coffee.

Anyway.... Tomorrow I travel down to CA for a sales meeting for 2 days. I will do my best to "be good" but at least P3 is easier to travel with than P2.

Adios for now! :)

How Many Calories is Good?

P3 D10 - LIW 240 - Today's Weight - 243.5 +3.5

Ahhhh Sunday.... "Day of Rest". Yea Right! Tim and I have been remodeling the house and EVERY weekend seems like MORE work than the one before! Well.... Things are starting to get there. Tim is working on texturing the walls in our new master bedroom, so then I can start painting. I am looking forward to that!

OK friends... Biz, Becca, Lili so you say I am not eating enough calories. How many calories do you think I should be eating during P3? I have just been eating when I am hungry, avoiding sugar and starch... but if I need to eat more, I will make it a point to add in a few snacks.

My lifestyle? I have been exercising daily, not too hardcore though, usually a 30 minute workout video using light weights, or a 2 mile walk, and then adding in some extra exercises every other day.... 30 sit ups, 30 squats, 30 push ups, 30 dips, 30 birdies. My goal is to workout at least 6 days a week, which so far has worked out for me. Throughout the week I work at a desk, on the phone constantly, and on the computer.... so not that active. At home, I clean regularly and do the cooking, etc. so I'm not laying around, but not exactly over active

TOM is now gone and I am still up 3.5 lbs from LIW. I really want to do this right... so all your input is totally appreciated!
